Marguerite Rose is the North Texas State Fair Grand Champion. Her entry of the Butterfly quilt was the Best in Show for fiber arts. Lucy Rees’s wool pink flowers was the reserve champion. Other blue ribbon winners were Ruth Loyd, Paula Sanders, Ruth Kline, Kathy Marrou, Nancy Meyers, Judy Hilderbrant, Jeanne De Arment, Peggy Zilinsky and Jois Rois. All are Material Girls members.
