The card game, May I?, is a version of Rummy consisting of a series of rounds. In each round there is a different contract: players have to collect a particular combination of sets and runs before they are allowed to meld. The contracts become progressively more demanding on each deal. The player with the lowest score wins.

In August the Game Gang met at the home of Kathy and Ed Heberlein. They delighted in a German bratwurst dinner before an entertaining game of May I?

The big winner was Jere Bone with only 15 points. Pete Toppan came in a close second with 18 points and coming in third was Bobby Rogers with 27 points. The biggest loser was Viv Wright with 142 points.
