The May Photography Club meeting was held on May 20 at 7 p.m. at the CATC. The program presentation was by club member Mike Waterhouse. Mike shared his photos and stories of his seven-day trip to Antarctica in January of 2024. Mike commented that Antarctica is one and a half times the size of the United States and is the most isolated and least populated land mass on earth, with some saying that visiting there is like going to outer space or the moon.

He provided his photo techniques and equipment used, as well as general advice for anyone planning to visit Antarctica in the future. Mike indicated that Antarctica made a great impact on him due to its unique qualities and untouched pristine and stark beauty. This meeting was open to anyone at Robson Ranch.
