Meet Ed Kerr! (By Ed Kerr)

This is an ongoing report on Kiwanis members and all they do for our community. Come join us!

When my wife Carol and I moved to Robson Ranch, we both wanted to be an active part of an organization that contributes to the community we live in and has a means to reach out worldwide to those in need. We also, by the way, wanted to enjoy our retirement and the social environment of the Ranch.

We found that Robson Ranch Kiwanis Club satisfies all of those objectives. Kiwanis International is a major contributor to an International Children’s fund. Locally, our club provides funds and hours of work to a wide variety of charitable organizations that support both needy kids as well as adults. Also, an important effort is scholarships for high school and college students.

The icing on the cake is a membership of generous people who invest the time and talent to create a variety of fundraising projects and activities that support the financial needs and workload for our community. In the process, they form many enduring friendships.
