Hello everyone here at Robson Ranch. I would like to remind you that the City of Denton has officially declared that Denton will become the “Halloween City” for North Texas!
City Hall and I, along with many talented people, have been organizing a full month of October activities for a fun-filled Halloween.
Kudos go out to Mr. Gary Punket (Parks & Recreation) who set all this in motion. We have been working on these events for almost a year now.
One of my jobs is to get the word out about this event and to find artists to create scary chairs for the Scary Chairy Orchard. We now have 197 chairs! They will be on display for a full month in October in front of Denton City Hall.
Each day in October will feature special events, such as the Oct. 1 kick-off with Ghostbusters appearances, movies, Boos & Booze Bar Crawls, cemetery visits and discussions, and so much more. To find out about each of the day and evening events, please visit www.dentonhalloween.com. Enjoy the fun!
