One Successful Show Finished, and Another One to Come

Beautiful Christmas wreath to be raffled at the Holiday Market.

The Robson Ranch Women’s Club just hosted the very successful Home and Garden Show on Aug. 28. Attendees had opportunities to speak with the 57 vendors who brought their products and services to the show. In addition, local merchants and professionals sponsored the Home and Garden Show. These vendors and sponsors, through their fees and donations, and the residents who participated in the raffle for the grill donated by Justin Ace Hardware, allowed the Women’s Club to make a substantial donation to its selected charity, Our Daily Bread Together with Monsignor King Outreach Center.

Many Robson residents contributed time to organizing this show and to putting in the labor it takes to create a successful show. The Ways and Means Committee of the Women’s Club deeply appreciates the efforts of all those who made the show such a success. There isn’t enough time to say all of the “thank you’s” that are deserved by those who have attended or to those who have worked so hard on this project.

One successful show highlights the path to another good vendor show. The next charitable project is the Holiday Market, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Oct. 23. This recurring event draws an amazing number of attendees. In the past, more than 1,000 people have come to see the more than 55-60 vendors who bring creative products to stimulate our imagination as we look forward to the holiday season. Like the Home and Garden Show, the vendor fees for this event will be donated to Our Daily Bread, together with the Monsignor King Outreach Center. There will also be a raffle for a wreath donated by Decorator Warehouse, and those proceeds will also be donated to the charity. Tickets for the raffle will be available for purchase at the September and October Women’s Club luncheons.

The Ways and Means Committee will be asking Robson residents to volunteer their time and labor to make it the great success that it has always been in the past. To volunteer, all that you need to do is sign up at the Women’s Club September and October luncheons.

Be sure and put the Holiday Market on your calendar. You won’t want to miss out on the next success story from the Women’s Club.
