During an engaging session, artist Judy Riffel, Paint & Palette Club Board president, led Robson residents through four essential shading techniques using pen and ink. Sponsored by the Paint & Palette Club, this workshop marked the first Third Monday Art Experience of 2024.
Participants immersed themselves in a hands-on session, exploring various technique examples. Judy demonstrated the forgiving nature of the process and offered shortcuts for participants to utilize in their own work. This activity catered to both novice and experienced artists, as Judy shared strategies applicable to all skill levels. Amidst the focused efforts, laughter filled the air, balancing the serious work with moments of joy and camaraderie.
