It didn’t take long for the Pickleball Club members to hit the courts once the governor of Texas and our general manager gave the go ahead. Each level (A, B, C, and D) managed the initial 16-member limit. The limit for each level was later raised to 18. A one hour and forty-five-minute block of play time was established. This allowed 15 minutes to clear the courts and the next block of time to start. Social distancing of six feet was observed by all members and after every game, the pickleball was disinfected for future use and a new ball was used for the next game of rotating players. After sheltering in place, the members of the club could not feel more excited to get back to playing the game they love. If you would like to join the pickleball fun, check out the club website at RRDPC.com. The Pickleball Academy teaches new players all aspects of the game.
