Spoken Word is a “catchall” term that includes any kind of poetry recited aloud, including poetry readings, poetry slams, and jazz poetry, and can include comedy routines and prose monologues.
On Sunday evening, Oct. 15, the Robson Ranch African American Social Group hosts professional poets Kathy “KT” Witten and Mz Viki at the Grill bar. If you have never attended this type of event, come out and enjoy the vibe. Residents are also invited to participate in the open mic portion of the event.
