An enjoyable day was spent by the Red Hat Ranchers on May 5 as they gathered for lunch in the delightful restaurant called Harvest in McKinney, Texas. Harvest is a restaurant that serves only fresh foods and uses environmentally correct products. They have a fantastic chef who prepares recipes definitely in the fine dining category. The ladies were excited about the different choices of foods that were offered to them. Very few ordered the same thing as each wanted to try something different. I think all 17 ladies that attended are making plans to return for another meal.

The hostesses treated each member with a brand new red or purple hat to add to their collection. After lunch you could see all the colorful hats going in and out of the shops as the ladies shopped to their hearts’ content. It is always fun to shop in stores that are not in our normal shopping routines. Again, many are making plans to go back to do some more shopping.

Joining us for this special day was former member Renee Grooms who now resides in Sherman, Texas.
