The RR Republican Club has had a busy summer. We had a meeting in June for the first time in a few years. We had an Independence Day parade entry that entailed a float (with several of our past presidents) and several golf carts that were decorated with the red, white, and blue. There were walkers that handed out American Flags and patriotic music coming from the float and carts. It was a beautiful day and an absolute privilege to celebrate this important day with our neighbors and friends. Thank you to all that participated and to those that lined the streets to celebrate.

Our speaker for the next meeting, Sept. 1, will be Nick Adams. Nick currently runs Foundation for Liberty and American Greatness (FLAG), a non-profit organization that teaches civics and informs parents and students on the power of the American Dream. His book, Green Card Warrior, details his journey to America. Nick likes to say “Australian by birth, American by choice”.

Do you need to join or renew your membership in the club? The next meeting is Sept. 1 at 7 p.m., at the clubhouse. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for refreshments and social time. The sponsors for the refreshments at this meeting come from some of the local area judges. Membership consists of residents of Robson Ranch who believe in, and support, the ideals and principles of the Republican Party. Current dues are $10 per person, payable in September of each year and are valid for one year.
