“The Social Event of the Year!”
The Robson Ranch Republican Club held its much-anticipated Inaugural Ball on Jan. 20, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. With a theme patriotically draped in red, white, and blue, the ballroom was transformed into a breathtaking spectacle that could have graced the pages of any high-end lifestyle magazine.
As attendees entered the ballroom, they were welcomed by an awe-inspiring sight: immaculate white chairs adorned with vibrant red sashes and sparkling rhinestones surrounding tables with blue highlights topped with a mirror beneath the elegant glass vases, lit from within sparkling through clear beads with red highlights sprinkled throughout. The décor was meticulously planned and executed, creating an ambiance that was both elegant and inviting.
More than 300 enthusiastic guests graced the ballroom, creating an electric atmosphere of excitement and camaraderie. They were joined by Robson’s own Big Swing’n Band who kept the energy high and the dance floor bustling. The atmosphere was electric, with free-flowing laughter and conversation as attendees connected, enjoying their shared values and aspirations.
Some highlights of the evening included the Trump Dance competition while the band played “Y.M.C.A.” Starting with more than 50 participants, it was won by Gary Otwell—way to get your Trump groove on! Club President Tim McCormick delighted the crowd with his rendition of “Sweet Caroline,” creatively adapted to celebrate the occasion as “Sweet Victory.” The performance resonated with the audience, evidenced by the audience enthusiastically joining in, their voices uniting in a chorus that echoed throughout the ballroom, encapsulating the spirit of the evening—a celebration of victory, community, and shared values. The photo booth, complete with cutouts of President Trump and Vice President Vance, was a huge hit as well!
The food and drinks were equally impressive, with a lavish spread that catered to all tastes. From gourmet hors d’oeuvres to delectable desserts, every bite was a delight, prepared under the creative expertise of Chef Sully and his staff. The bar offered a wide selection of beverages, ensuring that everyone could find something to their liking.
The success of the ball was a testament to the dedication and hard work of the organizing committee. Laurie Wiginton and her team poured their hearts and souls into ensuring every detail was perfect, from the initial planning stages to the final touches on the night of the event. Their efforts paid off, as guests left the ballroom with smiles on their faces and memories that will last a lifetime.
