Jeanne Porter
Jeanne Porter voted at Robson Ranch in Denton, Texas, in her 20th presidential election. She first voted in the 1944 election between Thomas Dewey and FDR. After she and her husband Dick retired from teaching in Connecticut, they moved to Sun Lakes Country Club in the early 1980s, and they lived at 8883 Fairway Blvd. for more than 30 years before moving into Renaissance in 2014. After Dick’s passing in 2017 at the age of 96, Jeanne moved to Denton, Texas, to be closer to her son Bob and daughter-in-law Lorelei who have resided in Robson Ranch in Denton, Texas, since 2016.
Jeanne will celebrate her 103rd birthday on Christmas Day, which is also the day of her anniversary.
