The Road Runner Travel Club held its mid-year mixer on July 31 with 300 fellow travelers in attendance. The theme was “Five O’clock Somewhere,” and many people dressed in their tropical attire. Both of our travel partners, Birona Aswad and Kenny Judd with Simply Travel and Kendall Meade with Brandt Travel, and her staff, came ready to share exciting new trips. Kendall offered margaritas to those who booked a trip that evening. We saw a lot of people with margaritas! Let the travel and fun begin! Some of the trips featured from Simply Travel were the Ark and the Creation Museum, Dickens on The Strand (Christmas in Galveston), South Africa, Victoria Falls, and Botswana. Brandt Travel featured the Celebrity Annual Cruise, Hawaii 2025, New Year’s Princess Cruise, and the Annual Cruise.
