The Robson Ranch Catholic Club met on Oct 11 at the home of Dr. Alex and Irene Manning. We had a wonderful turnout; about 40 people attended. Our guest speaker was Trey Elmore who is a senior at UNT with a major in political science. Trey spent five years as a United States Marine and was deployed to Afghanistan in 2011. Trey is a convert and came into the Church at the Easter Vigil 2014. His talk was on The Kingship of Christ, and he pointed out and read from some of the church’s Encyclicals of the Early Church. It was a very informative and thought provoking talk. Following Trey’s presentation a short meeting was held.
Marge Lane collected some gift bags of necessities, which will be distributed at Christmas for Our Daily Bread. The meeting was concluded and everyone enjoyed the snacks provided by some of the members. There was plenty of time left for some fellowship, and I believe everyone enjoyed the evening.
