Alice Wright
We are designating the month of June as Play for the Cause at Robson Ranch. June 21 is the Longest Day signature event for the Alzheimer’s Association. People from around the world will fight the darkness of Alzheimer’s through a fundraising activity of their choice. Since many of our clubs may not meet on June 21, we are designating the month of June to play for the Alzheimer’s Association.
We are asking each club to designate a play day, to hold a tournament, or basically have any event to collect donations for the Alzheimer’s Association. The clubs may also collect checks, made out to the Alzheimer’s Association, from their members. No matter your passion—golf, pickleball, softball, Samba, Mexican train, sewing, pottery, or any of the many Robson activities—you can participate. An anonymous donor will match the total funds raised at Robson Ranch up to $3,000. We would like to see which club can collect the most money for the Alzheimer’s Association, and to have as many clubs as possible represented.
Many Robson residents have personally had a family member or friend who has been touched by this disease. A Robson Ranch community effort to support the Alzheimer’s Association is a Robson Ranch community effort to support our loved ones who have experienced Alzheimer’s disease. Thanks in advance for your support.
