With the recently-announced retirement of Joe and Tawana Arnett at the end of May 2015 from their positions as Director and Assistant Director of the community choir, the RRMC is seeking to fill the positions, preferably from within the multi-talented people here at Robson Ranch. The new director will continue to offer the musical experience for choir members as established by the Arnetts, and the musical programs offered to the community will remain.
Among the duties of the director are the following: recruit, audition and direct the RR Community Choir; select and purchase music for all concerts presented by the choir; plan and select concert dates; work with choir members to improve vocal quality; expand and enhance the breadth and depth of the range of music performed; supervise selection and securing services of instrumentalists; supervise ancillary technicians and volunteers to ensure quality concert production; and supervise maintenance of and additions to music library and equipment. This paid position is effective summer 2015, and we hope to begin interviewing candidates in early 2015.
