As the heat of summer makes way for crisp Autumn weather, the Robson Ranch Tennis Club will be on the courts in force for multiple events. In addition to the weekly drop-in play and self-scheduled groups, two tournaments are upcoming, along with many days of scheduled drills. On Sept. 19, the Club’s first ever Women’s Doubles Tournament will be held. Warm up and final registration will take place at 8 a.m., with matches beginning at 8:30 a.m. Club members can register on Group Spot. Non-members can register by emailing rrtennis@gmail.com to reserve a spot for a $10 entry fee. Space is limited for this Double Elimination tournament of six-game sets.
Then beginning on Oct. 5, a six-week Monday evening coed league will begin for members. And on Oct. 17, the annual Saturday morning Octoberfest tournament and social for members will take place. Needless to say, the Robson Ranch Tennis Club board is busy planning all kinds of events to create options for everyone’s interest and skill levels.
