The Women’s Club June Luncheon is Monday, June 6. Doors open at 11 a.m.
Women’s Club members and their guests have the unique opportunity to hear Mr. Randy L. Schmidt, the critically acclaimed author of Little Girl Blue: The Life of Karen Carpenter. Randy is a New York Times Editor’s Choice and Wall Street Journal Best Seller. He has also served as creative consultant for several television documentaries on the Carpenters.
His full-length biography of Karen Carpenter details every aspect of her life, from her childhood in Connecticut to her rise to stardom in Southern California and her tragic early demise. Join us for this behind-the-scenes look at this world-renowned superstar, known for her major hits “Close to You,” “We’ve Only Just Begun,” “Top of the World,” and more. Mr. Schmidt is currently a music educator in Denton.
Bring your $$. Randy will be selling his book after the program.

Your 2022 membership fees are due now. Stop by the Membership table in the foyer while at the luncheon and pay your $20 dues. You also have the option to go to the Women’s Club website rrwomensclub.org and download your membership form.
