It’s spring, and you know what that means—new fashion trends! Our April luncheon was all about our old and tired wardrobe and how to revitalize it. Our sponsors this month were Chico’s and Soma & Brighton. They brought some absolutely fabulous spring fashions to our stage in a magical “Hello Spring” show.
It was a hit as nearly 300 women attended. We want to give much appreciated thanks to Katherine Vess and Althea Parent who graciously helped prepare for the fashion show. Special thanks also go out to our models: Carlene Want, Dee Frazier, Chris White, Paula Hemingway, Debra Harwell, Donna French, Barbara Coulson, Joyce Brein, Nita Ice, Gayle England, Lynn Pierce, Judy Field, Vicki Baker and Betty Silich.
Five bags of food plus $595, cleaning and personal hygiene items were donated to Denton County Friends of the Family. Thank you for your continued generosity.
First time attendees and new members were recognized. All April birthdays had their names read and were wished a happy birthday.
