Rock and Roll Martini Group Rocks The 50th Anniversary of Woodstock

Dave Parker

The House Band (host) for the December meeting of the Rock and Roll Martini Group was Jim and Cassie Richardson. Jim and Cassie had a dual theme for the event. It was both a celebration of the holidays and a 50th anniversary of Woodstock, so the event had a combination of festive holiday attire and tie-dyed t-shirts. Jim and Cassie had a special surprise for the group as they invited former residents Jeff and Paula Sales to attend while they were in town. Jeff Sales, Texas recording artist and former Exit 79 lead man, performed a concert for the group of Woodstock hits and other classic rock hits. After the concert, karaoke began with Rocker Jimmy Burns bringing down the house. Jim and Cassie had two martinis flowing for the Rockers and guests, a Woodstock winter white cosmo and a psychedelic pineapple fusion martini. Appetizers and desserts filled the counters. Until next month, ROCK ON!
