The July house band (host) for the Rock & Roll Martini Group was Jimmy and Nancy Burns. Jimmy B. and Nancy picked the perfect summer band in The Beach Boys to feature at the party. Since we were in the middle of summer, Jimmy B. and Nancy rolled out hamburgers, hot dogs, and baked beans. The Rockers (members) and guests filled in with appetizers and desserts. The Burnses filled out the evening with a Beach Boys trivia contest. It was a close contest between three teams, but in the end, the ladies beat out the men and took the trivia first-place award. No screen doors or martini glasses met their demise at the party.
