On the morning of Feb. 19, a group of Rockin’ Reds Ranchers gathered at 11 a.m. for a special outing at the award-winning Union Bear Brewing Company in Denton. The gracious hostesses Mala Bowdouris, Marianne DiLiberto, and Kasey Miller welcomed everyone warmly and set the tone for a morning filled with fun, learning, and friendship. The group enjoyed a fascinating tour of the brewing facilities, gaining a new appreciation for the craft and care that goes into creating beer.
Following the tour and while enjoying lunch in the restaurant’s private dining area, Mala led the ladies in two spirited quizzes that brought out both our competitive sides and our sense of humor. The first, matching famous beer slogans to their brands, proved more challenging than expected, with most participants managing no more than two correct answers. The second quiz required matching national beers to their countries of origin. This time, the group was impressed when their newest member, Lorie, demonstrated remarkable knowledge and won the prize by answering nearly every question correctly!
