The Robson Ranch Women’s Golf Association (RRWGA) is pleased to announce the 2022 season tee-off event on March 15, “Saving Strokes.” This will be the 2nd annual Saving Strokes charity golf event benefiting the American Heart Association by raising awareness about CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), AEDs (automated external defibrillators), and heart attack and stroke symptoms.
Our partners in this endeavor are the Denton and ESD1 Fire Departments under the direction of Brad Lahart, EMS Battalion Chief.
The American Heart Association is also partnering to raise CPR education and knowledge across North Texas.
Cardiovascular diseases are a woman’s greatest health threat—one in three women will be affected by cardiovascular diseases. Most heart disease and stroke deaths are preventable.
Many of us have first-hand knowledge or know of someone who has been affected by heart disease, and it remains the No. 1 cause of death in the U.S.
We are creating this awareness because we all have been touched by someone at Robson Ranch Texas. Robson Ranch Residents can make donations in a designated box located in the Pro Shop from March 1 through March 15.
Take charge of your heart health and those you can’t bear to be without. Take care of yourself, and help take care of others!
