Sassy Stampers Club update

JoAnn Gantos

The Sassy Stampers met on February 16 in the Creative Arts and Technology Center, Room 104 at 10:00 a.m. This month Tami Fenton, project leader for the month, led us through the making of a beautiful stencil card using a blended sponging technique. The brilliant colors of green, blue, purple and teal made this peacock stencil card pop. The card was so much fun to make and it seemed that the group thoroughly enjoyed putting their individual creative spin on it to make it their own. Thank you, Tami!

During our meeting this month the waterfall challenge card winner was Theresa Rosprim. The winner for submitting cards with the green and white theme for February was Sally Hampton. Congratulations ladies! These winners receive a gift card from a local craft store.

Every month we have a new project lead from within our club. With that said, we make ten cards a year. We also dedicate one meeting a year to learning techniques. At this meeting, multiple techniques are taught so that we can use these techniques when making cards. We cap off the year with a celebration of our successes.

Our club is very involved in Support Our Troops. We have two dedicated members (Marti Goodrich and Sandy Masoner) who lead this very special effort. Dedicated SOT card making days are set up throughout the year supporting military members deployed throughout the world.

Annual dues are only $15. Whether you are a new beginner or experienced card maker, the Sassy Stampers would love to welcome you to our club. Please stop by the Creative Arts and Technology Center and check out our window display by Room 104.
