The Sassy Stampers met on January 19 and welcomed in 2019 with all members looking forward to celebrating another year of friendship and creativity through card making. April Bayne, the January Project Leader, led the members through the creation of a beautiful waterfall technique Valentine’s Day card. Thank you, April! The card is beautiful and was so much fun to make.
In addition, the club encourages members to create a challenge card (based on the previous month’s card) and a specialty card identified for the month. Those who submit cards for these challenges enter drawings to receive gift cards for a local craft store. Sondra Hall won the challenge card and Georgie Speers won the specialty card for January. Congratulations ladies!
The club is also active in cooperation with the Support Our Troops organization at the Ranch, supplying multiple handmade cards to be sent to troops deployed throughout the world.
Anyone interested in rubber stamping and card making is invited to our club meetings held at 10:00 a.m. on the third Saturday of each month in room 104 of the Creative Arts and Technology Center. Beginning and experienced stampers are welcome. We offer beginner classes at no cost to new members. Annual dues for the club are $15/year which includes ten greeting cards and a techniques day.
In the Creative Arts and Technology Center, we have a window full of cards made by Sassy Stamper members, please stop by and see some of our handiwork.
