The Robson Ranch Sassy Stampers meet formally on the third Saturday of each month. Come discover what stamping is all about and create a greeting card for someone special. You will find that our members have a passion for mentoring new stampers and teaching them techniques and tips for paper crafting and rubber stamping. Although primarily a card club, we create other items such as decorated note pads, gift bags, tags and much, much more! Beginners and experienced stampers are welcomed and will find that skills learned in Sassy Stampers are transferable to other mediums, like scrapbooking and painting.

The June meeting project was an evening purse card taught by Lynne McKeown.

Each month a “tool of the trade” is introduced and demonstrated for the members. In June Diana Krug demonstrated the Misti, a tool for aligning stamps on projects.

We have a Basic Stamping 101 class that is taught the second Friday of each month. Trudi Searles teaches this class and introduces new stampers to tools and techniques in a more intimate one-on-one setting. This class will not be taught in July but will resume in August.

We also have two accelerated classes each month taught by Patsy Collins. Patsy teaches more advanced techniques to more experienced stampers.

Sassy Stampers is also proud of our contribution to the Support Our Troops efforts at Robson Ranch and meet regularly to create cards for our troops. In addition to Support Our Troops, in June members gathered to produce cards for Operation Write Home. Fifty-one cards were made to send to the troops for them to send home to their loved ones.

Currently members have the opportunity to win a gift card when they bring and share their talent with the club by preparing cards that meet the monthly theme. June’s winner was Judy Loomis. All cards created for the drawing are proudly displayed in the window of Room 104 at the CATC building.

Our next meeting is July 18 from 10:00 a.m. to noon in Room 104, Bluebonnet Room, in the Creative Arts & Technology Building. July’s card will be taught by Lyn Fosnaught. Each stamper will leave the meeting with a beautiful completed greeting card. Guests are welcome with a charge of $3 to cover the cost of supplies.

Annual dues are $15 per year.
