The Sassy Stampers met on Saturday, April 20 in the Creative Arts and Technology Center, Room 104. This club meets every month on the third Saturday, at 10:00 a.m. Throughout the year, the club makes ten cards. One month out of the year (usually July) is dedicated to learning new techniques. Multiple techniques are demonstrated and taught to the club members during this meeting. In December we celebrate the year with a luncheon including games, prizes and a gift exchange. Annual dues for the club are only $15.
Our club is very involved in Support Our Troops. We have two dedicated members, Marti Goodrich and Sandy Masoner, who lead this very special effort. Dedicated SOT card making days are set up throughout the year where members gather and make these special cards.
Theresa Rosprim was the April project leader. Theresa designed a beautiful “V” pocket fold card with a paper fold flower. Theresa designed this card with simplicity in mind. She is a relatively new member to the club and wanted to lead the club through making a card that a beginner could easily make with a standard stamping kit. Thanks Theresa, the card was a big hit with everyone!
Please stop by the Creative Arts and Technology Center and check out our beautiful window display of handmade one-of-a-kind cards made by our members. We would love to see you at our next meeting on May 18 at 10:00 a.m. in Room 104.
