The Sigma Chi Brothers held their annual Sigma Chi Derby Day at the Grill. The room was neatly decorated with “over the top” Sigma Chi memorabilia. With all of the TVs tuned in to the Kentucky Derby, the Brothers and Sweethearts were ready to cheer on their favorite horses. The whole event was again coordinated by Brother Chuck Newcomer. Chuck arranged for appetizers, mimosas, and mint juleps for the gathering. Brothers Mick Fox and Dan Nicolet coordinated the friendly wagering on the Kentucky Derby. Brother John Humphries brought pictures of Derby Days on the campus of Arizona. The Brothers sang “The Sweetheart of Sigma Chi” to all of the beautiful spouses and significant others. All of the Sigma Chi Sweethearts also received a white rose to commemorate the occasion. Hats off (Derby hats) to Brother Chuck Newcomer for another great Derby Day.
