Approximately 40 Wisconsin Club members got a jump start on the 2014 NFL season by gathering at The Grill on Friday, August 22, to watch the nationally televised pre-season game between the Green Bay Packers and the Oakland Raiders. The Grill staff was very accommodating in bringing a WI tradition to Texas—offering a traditional fish fry as one of their featured menu items. In keeping with the Packer organization’s giving philosophy to children, there was a collection box for school supplies. The response to this was extremely generous! All donated items were channeled through the Robson Ranch After Schoolers group and given to local elementary school children. It was a fun evening of socializing, dining on delicious fish and cheering on the Packers to a victory.
