Our next tennis social event will be on June 25. Breakfast at Wimbledon will be a round robin event with winners in Men’s and Women’s divisions, followed by Strawberries and Cream snacks with lemonade. As the weather is warming up, we will have check-in at 7:30 a.m. and play beginning at 8 a.m. Be sure to wear white as a tribute to the All England Club.
Thanks to Armando and Carol Reyes, we had a competitive Women’s Tennis Shootout on May 7. The winners were Barb Bent and Beth Tiedemann. We look forward to more events like this in the near future.
Drop-in times have changed as of June 1. Mixed is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and Women’s is Tuesday and Thursday starting at 8 a.m., and Men’s is Tuesday and Thursday evening starting at 6 p.m.
