The RR Paint & Palette Club Is Planning Wonderful Exhibitions/Events for 2022!

Francesca Romano, President, RR Paint & Palette Club

Besides meeting twice a week in the Indian Brush Room 103 at the CATC building, we have been enjoying our holiday parties and events. Thanks to Patrick and Beverly Fairchild for hosting a great Christmas party. Patrick is a very welcomed new artist to our group. We always welcome new members as we share our techniques in painting/drawing and creating. We are certainly a fun group.

What’s New for the New Year …

March 27 to April 1: The “Ism Exhibition.” Now, if you do not know what an “ism” is, it will be explained at our yearly meeting and create a short history lesson for the next Pioneer paper—Jan. 3. This exhibition will be interactive with the “ism” allowing our residents to match the “ism” being displayed by each artist. The winners (three) will get to choose a painting that our artists have donated!

Our yearly dues will be collected Jan. 3 ($10 per artist), and positions for our board will be discussed.

May 28 to June 3: The “Painted Chair Exhibition.” Each artist will paint an old chair using their artistic and imaginative talents. Try to figure out who did what! An award will be given out to the resident who gets 100% correct!
