Think snow, think cold, think Christmas performance! Why not cool down by thinking about our December event, which is the Prestonwood Baptist Church Christmas Performance on Sunday evening, December 14. No, it is not too early to save the date to attend a wonderful program full of surprises! Prestonwood Baptist Church puts on a great holiday performance that includes a lot of talent and entertainment. The cost is $77 per person and includes transportation and dinner along with the performance. Tickets will go on sale October 1 at the clubhouse. For those of you interested in getting away for more than one day, we are still accepting reservations for our “Arkansas Art Getaway, October 6-8. One of the highlights of this trip will be a tour of the new world-class Cristal Bridges Museum. Transportation, two nights’ accommodations and four meals are included. Later in October (the 28th), you can still join us in our Fall at the Dallas Arboretum trip, which includes not only the bus and ticket to get in, but also a docent tour guide. If you want to get an early start on your holiday shopping, why don’t you come with us on our two-day “Shop Some and Sip Some” trip, which is scheduled for November 12-14. There will be a trip to the San Marcos Outlet Mall, stops in Salado, TX, Gruene, TX and a Texas winery. This trip includes transportation, lodging and three meals.
