What is the Road Runners Travel Club?
We are a member driven organization at Robson Ranch dedicated to creating exceptional travel experiences for residents. We partner with trusted travel providers to offer curated trips ranging from local day excursions to international adventures.
Who can join the club?
All Robson Ranch residents are welcome to join. Whether you’re a seasoned traveler or just beginning to explore, the club offers opportunities for every interest and comfort level.
What types of trips does the club offer?
Road Runners features a diverse lineup: historical tours across Texas, small group international journeys, river cruises, ocean cruises, cultural experiences, and the club’s signature Winter Annual Caribbean Cruise. Trips are designed with accessibility, comfort, and community in mind.
Who are the club’s travel partners?
The club currently works with three professional partners:
* Brandt Travel, offering domestic and international group travel, including the popular annual cruise.
* Overseas Adventure Travel (OAT), known for small group, immersive tours worldwide and excellent options for solo travelers.
* Yellow Rose Tours, specializing in Texas history excursions.
How do I find and sign up for upcoming trips?
Members can browse all approved trips on the club website at rrrrclub.com. New trips are added throughout the year, and many fill quickly, so checking regularly is encouraged. Each trip listing includes registration instructions and contact information for the coordinating travel partner. Most trips require early deposits to secure your spot.
How do I stay updated on announcements?
The club maintains an active website and Facebook page—Robson Ranch Road Runners Travel Club—Denton Texas—where updates, photos, and new trip alerts are posted frequently. We also send out a monthly newsletter to members.
What events can I attend?
We hold an annual meeting in January and a mid-year meeting in July. We also hold solo travelers’ and member’s social events periodically throughout the year. Our travel partners hold educational events multiple times in the calendar year.
What about travel rebates?
Sometimes we receive travel rebates for the trips that we take. Only current members of Road Runners Travel Club are eligible to receive travel rebates on trips they take when a rebate is offered! When a rebate is applicable, the traveler must be a current member prior to and during the trip.
Can I suggest a new destination?
Absolutely. Members are encouraged to share ideas with the board or travel consultants. Many itineraries begin as member suggestions.
When’s the next event?
Our Mid-Year meeting is a highlight. Join us on July 29 in the Clubhouse. Meet our travel partners and Road Runners Members. Learn about our travel options. Membership tables will be available. Members should RSVP on the website by July 20.
How much does it cost?
Membership is $15 pp ($16 for credit card payments). Membership applications are on our website at www.rrrrclub.com/membership. Come join us!
