“The Tribe” is a group of residents seeking and supporting a whole food, plant-based diet and a healthy lifestyle. We meet every third Sunday at 6:00 p.m. in the Blue Bonnet Room in the CATC. We would love to have you join us at our next meeting, July 16 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. in the Blue Bonnet Room.
Brandy Wismer will be the first of two fantastic presenters and will give a talk on “Benefits of Yoga as Part of a Holistic Aging Plan.” This should be a great session! Brandy Wismer, M.S.Ed, RYT 200, Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Instructor, New Beginnings Yoga and Wellness
Brandy teaches yoga at the Robson Ranch and also has a passion for sharing the importance of nutrition and the positive impacts a healthy diet can have on our lives. Brandy has been practicing yoga for 10 years and has over 20 years’ experience in the field of mental health, addiction and special needs populations. Brandy earned her 200-Hour Registered Teacher Training from the Inspire Yoga School, a 200-hour Yoga Alliance registered teacher training program with Bethaney Pilat. Her Vinyasa style yoga classes have been inspired by Yoga for Healthy Aging Program. Her nutritional philosophy is to limit sugar and eat whole, mostly plant-based, non-processed foods to build a strong healthy body.
Our second speaker will be Aynn Riback, ACC, CUG, M.S., Life Coach and founder of Wise Works Living (Coaching Company). Her topic will be “Healthful, Positive Aging/Successful Aging.” Aynn Riback, ACC, CUG, M.S., Life Strategies and Navigation Coach.
Aynn is a certified as a coach by the International Coach Federation. She has a Master of Science Degree in Health Related Behavior. She has over 30 years’ experience working with people as a coach, educator and director in the human development field. She received her coach training from Coach U and graduated from their advanced training program with over 250 hours of coach training.
Aynn works with people 50+ that are going through transitions and want to reinvent themselves and age successfully and be happy, healthy and live on purpose. She has a passion for health/wellness and personal growth and healthy transformations. She has taught stress management, healthy eating habits and personal development classes.
