The Trivia Club is pleased to announce that we have secured four Trivia Night dates for 2024. All will occur on Thursday nights at 7 p.m. in the clubhouse ballroom. Dates are Feb. 15, May 2, Aug. 22, and Nov. 14.
Ticket sales for the Feb. 15 game will take place on Jan. 24 and 26 from 9 to 11 a.m. in the clubhouse foyer.
You may purchase tickets for an entire team of 10 players (the maximum purchase), or you may buy individual tickets. The cost is $15 per ticket. Payment is by cash or check. Our goal is to provide an evening of fun and high spirits. Prizes are awarded to the top three scoring teams, plus lots of random door prizes are awarded during the evening to individuals and tablemates with gift cards to the Wildhorse Grill, the Pro Shop, and Visa gift cards.
We have big news about our club! Club founders Linda Smith, Erminja Maganja, and Susan Volgamore have been looking for someone to take the reins (so they can play!). They have stepped down as Trivia Club board members and are pleased to announce that the club has been transitioned to be sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Robson Ranch, effective immediately. The Trivia Club will remain intact, operating with newly appointed board members Barbara Leurig, president; Greg Laffey, vice president; and Jim Ryerson, treasurer.
Some of our support crew, including our wonderful scorekeepers and technical support team of Rance and Marci Malcom, will be staying on. Linda, Erminja, and Susan will provide support as needed to the new board members and operations team and will shadow that team for the first ticket sales and game night.
We are delighted with the energy and enthusiasm of the new board and their willingness to take on the job to host Trivia Night and continue holding this fun event.
