Life is a journey filled with planning—from choosing a college, planning a wedding, and where to live, we meticulously plan our futures. However, there’s one aspect many of us tend to overlook in our planning process, an inevitable part of life that connects us all—death. Women Sharing Hope recognizes the importance of preparing for this unavoidable reality and is excited to host the “Are You Prepared to Be Left Behind” event once again on Feb. 16 at 1 p.m.
In recent months, real-life situations have unfolded where individuals faced the end without proper preparation. The absence of wills, plans, and legal documents added immense stress and complications for those left behind. In one instance, a dear friend had to navigate a complex situation without any guidance, leading her to utter, “I’m going to have a nervous breakdown.” The emotional toll was so severe that she lost over 20 pounds in just a few weeks. We believe that no one should be remembered for the chaos they leave behind, and that’s why Women Sharing Hope is bringing back this crucial event.
The “Are You Prepared to Be Left Behind” event, previously hosted two years ago, is designed to shed light on the necessity of planning for life’s inevitable conclusion. This year, on Feb. 16, we invite you to consider gifting a ticket as a unique and thoughtful Valentine’s present. Two tickets to the event make for an exceptional gift that goes beyond the ordinary.
Given the overwhelming response two years ago, we recommend securing your tickets early. Priced at $30 per couple (including one handbook) and $20 per individual (with one handbook), additional handbooks can be purchased for $25 each. Tickets will be available in the clubhouse on Jan. 8, 10, 12, 15, 17, and 19, from 9 to 11 a.m. Your ticket will be presented as a Valentine card, a meaningful gift that transcends the traditional box of candy or bouquet of flowers.
Don’t let uncertainty cast a shadow on your loved ones’ future. Join us at the “Are You Prepared to Be Left Behind” event and, together, let’s plan for the inevitable, ensuring peace of mind for you and those you care about.
