Here are two great trips to get on your calendar as you plan for next year’s excursions.
We’re Cruising from Galveston!
Oh, the weather here is dreary, so let’s go someplace cheery!
The Road Runners have booked a winter getaway aboard Royal Caribbean’s Liberty of the Seas for February 21–28, 2016. Ports of call include Montego Bay, the Grand Cayman Isles and Cozumel. You may elect to take an excursion to scuba, snorkel and water ski or just go to the beach to enjoy the sun at one of these locations. And many fun opportunities await the land lovers. The newly renovated Liberty of the Seas offers wonderful activities on board while at sea including a theatrical ice skating show and a Broadway show Saturday Night Fever: The Musical. Reservations are still available for a superior balcony stateroom at a cost of $959 per person. Bus transportation from the Ranch to Galveston and overnight stay at the Moody Gardens is available for $220 per person.
Welcome “Spring” on a Grand European Tour
This 15-day Viking Cruise begins in Amsterdam and leisurely navigates down the Rhine River, April 24–May 8, 2016. A river cruise provides each guest with a river view stateroom and all meals featuring regional specialties. You will cruise through the Netherlands, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria and Hungary and experience 12 guided tours with audio headsets. Among the many activities aboard and ashore are concerts, ranging from Austrian classics to baroque organ music; lectures/discussions on current international issues; and learn gourmet tips from the ship’s chef. You will have more personal staff attention and become better acquainted with fellow travelers in the spacious but intimate setting of the Viking long boat.
