Members of the International Club at their monthly meeting.

The Robson Ranch International Club held their July meeting at the new home of Karen Barnes-Visser and Marty Visser that they had recently built on Osprey Lane in Robson Ranch. The Vissers’ made the main dish and the rest of the members brought appetizer or dessert to share with others. The meeting was well attended.

We were happy to see our President Marie-Christine Koop at our August meeting which was held at the Robson Ranch Grill, on Wednesday, August 15, rather than on our regular third Thursday of the month. The members enjoyed their dinner at the Grill and had a good time mingling. Although Marie-Christine Koop was gone for several months in France with her students from UNT, she continued to perform her duties as a President of the International Club very efficiently.

We encourage new or old residents in Robson Ranch to join our club. To become a member of the International Club, the participant may be single or a couple, be a resident of Robson Ranch and be born outside of the United States and be of foreign origin. The International member’s spouses and significant others are welcome to attend our gatherings.

Meetings are generally held on the third Thursday of each month and on special occasions we change the day.

Activities include outings and also luncheons or dinners either at members’ homes or restaurants. This forum promotes us to share our culture, experiences, cultivate friendships, as well as provide support and understanding.
