Through rain, wind and tornado threats, the fourth annual Veterans Tournament was completed. Not in one day but three days.
In the championship match, Jim Foxx (police officer) and Terry Duffield defeated Gary Gardner (Coast Guard) and Doug Hagen (Army). Third place winners were Darin Burk (special agent) and Jeff Harwell (Marines) over Sam Karr (Marines) and Rich Jedowski (Army). Medals went to first, second and third place winners.
We want to thank our veterans and their families for their service to our country. We also want to thank our tournament sponsor, Cool Screens by Guy Myers. Thanks to the RR horseshoe members for preparing the courts, keeping score and cleaning the pits. We are looking forward to an even bigger 2020 tournament.
