Ron and Maureen Lehrer drove over to Highland Springs Senior Living in North Dallas in January to visit former residents and friends from Robson Ranch. Jack and Martha Callaway were our hosts for the touring of the “Cruise Ship” atmosphere they live in; but it doesn’t leave the dock! The accommodations are lovely and so convenient for all the residents, almost everything being enclosed and connected by walkways to the other resident buildings.

The second couple to join us was former neighbors of ours on Callaway Court, Grant and Barbara Coulson. It was so nice to see them again and see their new home, lovely and just right for them. We visited the Jack Callaway’s new home, which is a little larger, but both apartments have a wonderful screened-in balcony, which they all really enjoy. There are many different sizes and plans of living spaces, and they even have a 100-bed hospital right next door. The doctors’ offices are in the main building of the complex.

We had planned to have lunch together along with John and Noreen Wolfe, formerly Robson, but they had become ill; sorry to have missed them. While we were waiting for lunch to open, who should walk up but Dwight and Lollie Evans from Robson. What a surprise. They had moved in just two days before; they joined us also.

Another former Robson resident, Bob Osteen, also joined us for lunch. The food is very good, maybe too good! We had a great time hearing all about their new place of residence and meeting their new friends as we walked down the halls. They are all great sales people for Highland Springs! They would love a visit from all their old friends at RR; you can get there without going on any highways! Just ask us!
