Voices United Women’s Group

The Voices United Women’s Group (VU) consists of Robson Ranch residents who share progressive values. We meet for lunch on the first Saturday of the month and discuss local, state, and national topics. We also fundraise for local organizations and enjoy several social events during the year.

We recently participated in two such activities.

The first was a social event held at a member’s residence on Oct. 30. Twenty-five creative costumed women gathered to celebrate Halloween. It was a great party and all enjoyed a lively and competitive game of charades! In addition to the game, participants voted on their favorite costumes with prizes being handed out to the top three most creative.

The second event was a fundraiser. For our November meeting, we held one of our annual fundraisers. Gathering in a member’s home, everyone brought their favorite appetizers and desserts. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, the VU women generously donated to a holiday gift to the Denton area Meals on Wheels.
