The Women’s Golf Association recently hosted the 10th annual Hoofs ‘n Heels Invitational Tournament. One hundred golfers from Robson Ranch and area clubs participated in the event. The highlight of the tournament is the awards luncheon where players are encouraged to wear their best cowgirl “bling.”

Guest players were paired with Robson WGA players for a 6/6/6 format. We also had members of the Wildhorse Lady Niners participating.
Prizes were awarded to first, second and third place teams in five flights. The following teams were tournament winners: First flight: Wright and Heller, Sands and Lair, Hicks and Delmark; Second flight: Bowen and Morrison, Klovans and Baker, Kanawyer and Leppek; Third flight: Pettigrew and Blackwood, Ortiz and Wheelwright, White and Pitts; Fourth flight: Revering and Howard, Beninato and Benjamin, Blackburn-Korn and Perry; Fifth flight: Martinez and Waters, Fitzgerald and Calderone, Harwell and Brewer. Closest to the pin winners in each flight were Diane Bent, Darlene Lamb, Judy McDuffie, Pat Morrow and Mala Bowdouris. A putting contest was won by Darlene Lamb. To show support for our military troops, a check for $500 was presented to SOT representative Donna Chabot.
