Robson Ranch Red Raiders enjoy the traditional Tortilla Toss!
Our Robson Ranch Red Raiders have a lot to be thankful for from 2025.
Our Texas Tech Red Raiders had an incredible year in 2025.
• Red Raider football had a historic year, clinching the Big 12 Title with a 12-1 season. Although the Orange Bowl outcome was disappointing, Red Raiders showed up in droves, coloring the entire stadium Scarlet and Black in honor of the Red Raiders. The 2026 portal has been outstanding.
• The men’s basketball team is off to an incredible season with their defeat of Duke at Madison Square Garden in New York City. At the time of this writing, they were ranked #15 in the AP top 25 poll and had a great win in Lubbock against Houston.
• The women’s basketball team continues to show their Raider Power as they face a challenging Big 12 conference slate. At the time of this writing, they are in first place in the Big 12, #17 in the AP top 25.
• Our Lady Red Raider Softball team came within one game of winning the Women’s College World Series, posting an incredible 54-14 season record. And the Lady Raiders are ranked #1 in the preseason poll for 2026.
• Red Raider Track swept the Big 12 indoor championships with both men’s and women’s championships. A first-ever indoor crown for the ladies. And both teams won the outdoor championships as well.
• Red Raider Baseball had a challenging season with mixed results, but they always showed the Go, Fight, Win Spirit of Texas Tech.
The Robson Ranch Red Raider Club (RRRRC) salutes these and all accomplishments of our Red Raiders.
As for our own Robson Red Raiders, we’ve had a busy year, including two Football Watch Parties, Par 3 After Glow Social, All Cancer Walk to raise funds for the Denton County Oncology Foundation, and the Red Raider ladies visited Edge of the Lake Vineyard.
We look forward to 2026 and events planned for the new year. Watch for future information regarding a Texas Tech Trivia Night.
With such a great year behind us and with great optimism for 2026, we’d be remiss in not mentioning just one more thing that we have to be thankful for, and that is members of our Robson Ranch Red Raider Club. We are so fortunate to have such a strong community here at Robson.
Anyone is welcome to join our Red Raider group. Whether you attended Texas Tech, you have a child or grandchild who attended Tech, or are just a Red Raider fan, you are welcome. There are no dues or costs to join.
If you’d like to be included on our RRRRC distribution list of emails and future happenings, send your name and phone number to Debbie Wegman at debsweg51@gmail.com.
Thank you for all your support of RRRRC activities. We look forward to enjoying that Wreck ‘em spirit in 2026.
Go Tech
