More than 65 women gathered on Feb. 12 for the first Lady Niners social of 2020. Craig Pullen, Wildhorse Golf Club Director of Golf, designed a golf putting contest that challenged 45 women for over 90 minutes with its twists and holes that left even golf Instructors Tyler Clark and Dave Bowles bewildered. But at the final bell, Valerie McGinnis and Mary Ellen Stiebel conquered the course winning first place.

Women enjoyed meeting old golfing buddies and new members plus a cash bar, appetizers, and learning about the new nine holes that will surely be exciting. Social Co-Chairs Tina Hoffenberg and Staci Brown surprised 20 attendees with door prizes ranging from golf lessons to golf balls, ball markers, and much more. All women left excited about the 2020 season which begins on opening day March 11. The Lady Niners play nine holes on Wednesday mornings at 8:30 a.m. Anyone interested in joining can find an application online on the HOA website under clubs (Wildhorse Lady Niners) or in the Pro Shop.
