Every year, the Wildhorse Lady Niners (WLN) Board designates charities for which to raise funds during our luncheons. This year, the first charity was the Justin Community Clothes Closet (CCC). This nonprofit organization, which opened in 2012, provides new and gently used clothing to families in need in Justin and the surrounding communities.
WLN members donated bags of clothing, as well as cash, to help with the nonprofit’s efforts. This is the second year the club has chosen to help Community Clothes Closet. This time of year, the CCC is particularly interested in cash donations to offset the cost of back-to-school needs for children. There is a real need for socks, new underwear, shoes, and children’s clothing. If you are interested in donating to the organization, you can find them online at www.communityclothescloset.net.
