Women Sharing Hope—Heirloom: Leaving Something of Eternal Value

Women Sharing Hope (WSH) will meet on Friday, Aug. 18, at 10 a.m. in the Robson Ranch clubhouse.

What will you leave for your children and grandchildren that has real, lasting value?

Our guest speaker Kathy Howard will dig into Psalm 78 to discover several practical ways we can make an eternal, Spiritual impact on those we love.

We all have a few things in common, and one of those is that we are all appointed “once to die.” Death for Christians should be a glorious time of celebration, joy, and anticipation in seeing our Lord (John 14:2-6). But once we are there seeing the “mansion” Jesus has prepared for us, how will it be for the folks we left behind? Hopefully, we had our papers in order, but what about the legacy we have left behind.

There was a man who died in his 70s, and of the things he was remembered for was that “he loved to eat crackers”! No fooling. Take some time this week to reflect on how you will be remembered. No crackers, please, or even chocolate chip cookies. Let’s figure out how to make an impact for people now and later. Come to the gathering next month, and let’s take a serious look at the legacy we will leave behind.

Afterwards, we enjoy having lunch together at the Grill. If you are interested in coming to this session and would like to receive a special invitation, please text Catherine at 817-707-7707.

Women Sharing Hope exists to develop friendships, grow in faith, and share God’s love.
