The October topic for Women Sharing Hope is “The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly of Family Dynamics.” According to a study by Lifeway Research, 66 percent of American young adults in their 20s drop out of church after being raised in a church-going family. Come hear the five reasons why this happens.
How do you talk to a loved one about your faith, their faith, when their hearts have become cold? The Women Sharing Hope team leaders will share their hearts on how they deal with adult children who no longer profess to be Christians. Group discussion will include the restraints put on Christian grandparents and the difficulties this can cause.
Come hear how some have overcome these barriers and, today, those lost young adults have found their way back home to the Lord—our prodigal children of today. Bring your own experiences and hurts, and we will attempt to help you heal as we share our own pain and disappointments, and how we refuse to let them take away our peace, by taking Biblical-based steps in love.
Please join us on Oct. 21 at 10:30 a.m. at the clubhouse, Lone Star Room. Women Sharing Hope is not affiliated with any one church. Everyone is welcome. If you would like to be on the invitation list, email [email protected] or text/call 817-707-7707.
