The outstanding Women’s Club monthly luncheon programs continue to inform, entertain, and inspire!
Each monthly luncheon is only $19 per person. You may reserve your luncheon seat by dropping off your payment by the reservation deadline.
As a recap, the May luncheon provided an excellent program, with President Nancy Caldwell opening the afternoon by providing the current business status updates. She also shared that the current membership is 467 members and continues to grow. New members were welcomed, and “Happy Birthday” rang through the ballroom for the attendees celebrating a May birthday!
She proceeded to announce the annual summer Backpack and School Supplies Drive would kick off at the June luncheon. Members were able to purchase backpacks for only $5 at the Service table while at the luncheon.
President Caldwell reminded everyone the Holiday Market is Oct. 14, and anyone who wishes to rent a booth should contact Chris Anderson at 817-683-3823.
Then on with the program! Gayle Lee, VP Programs, welcomed the delightful crooner Grant Wright who entertained everyone with phenomenal renditions from the songbooks of Michael Bublé, Dean Martin, Johnny Cash, Frank Sinatra, and Elvis. It was a wonderful, song-filled afternoon, which followed an excellent buffet lunch and catching up with friends while meeting new people.
Announcing the July program! The July luncheon program on Monday, July 3, promises to be an inspirational afternoon with speaker Jim Galbraith. He served in the U.S. Naval Reserve for 23 years while serving on three different ships and retired a Lieutenant Commander. During this time, he also served 35 years as a college administrator. Jim will share stirring experiences in celebration of our great nation’s Independence Day! Please join us for this rousing patriotic program with a few inspiring surprises.

You may pay by dropping your $19 check in the Cimarron Sports Center Women’s Lounge in the mailbox on the wall or pay with PayPal by going to the Women’s Club website, rrwomensclub.org. You may also drop off your check at Sandra Mankowich’s home at 8905 Gardenia.
