Women’s Club October Program: Texas Roots (Native Plants, That Is)

Speaker Kathi Efflandt, owner of Native Roots Perennial Farm and Garden

Gayle Coe

The Robson Ranch Women’s Club is excited to host Kathi Efflandt, owner of Native Roots Perennial Farm and Garden, at the October luncheon. She is back by demand with wonderful Master Gardener updates specific to our Texas landscaping needs. She holds two state certifications, one in plant propagation and the other in greenhouse management. She also teaches other Master Gardeners and the public at her farm.

Kathi is an avid gardener. Her love of gardening has made her an enthusiastic teacher and speaker on gardening in this crazy Texas climate, mostly promoting the use of native and adaptive plants.

She is back by popular demand after the wonderful presentation she gave last year. Everyone walked away with a better understanding of how to manage our landscape with more success and enjoyment!

We will also have a plant auction! This will be a popular program!

The October charity is Friends of the Family.

Buffet: Chicken teriyaki, teriyaki sauce, Hawaiian fried rice, Asian salad, miso vinaigrette and ranch dressing, and white coconut cake.

Luncheon checks are due by Monday, Sept. 30, at 8 a.m.

If you have any questions, contact Candace Anderson at 512-809-7570.
